Krystal Zhang (she/her) is a registered psychologist in Alberta. She completed her Master of Counselling degree with Presidential Honors in 2024 along with a 6 month clinical psychology, assessment, and counselling internship. Her capstone project explored the use of Narrative Therapy and the use of passionate interests for supporting autistic youth; along with current research in various areas of autism. Krystal received a Bachelor of Education (2004) from the University of Alberta and a Diploma in Inclusive Education(2016) from Athabasca University. She also received a diploma in Montessori teaching and worked as an educator and inclusive education school lead. Krystal has extensive experience in assessment and inclusive education, along with lived experience as a parent of neurodivergent teens. She identifies as a neurodivergent psychologist, and all aspects of her practice aim to be neurodiversity affirming.

Krystal has specialization and extensive training in supporting and assessing autism, ADHD, and other areas of neurodivergence. She has additional training in psychological assessment, psychoeducational assessment, cognitive assessment, trauma, educational consultation, learning, and attachment. With over 18 years of teaching/educational experience. She brings a range of knowledge and experience as she supports individuals and families. She aims to provide an empathetic, safe, and trusting space that honours and validates all clients.
